Participants must have:

• a degree in either: Biology, Chemistry, Medicine, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, Bioinformatics
• a basic working knowledge of experimental research.

Preference will be given to:

• Ph.D. students and junior scientists under 35
• to those having not more then five years research experience

Applicants should send their current CV, together with a signed letter of recommendation from a Professor who is aware of their work.

• The summer school activities will be held in English.
• The selection procedure is expected be completed within a week.
• The School can accept a maximum of 18 attendees.
• The attendees will have the opportunity to present their results at a dedicated session.
• The CMS3 summer school doesn’t cover accomodation, travel expences, medical insurance or any other costs. No scholarships are available for this course.

Registration fee:

€ 150 per person. It includes all academic sessions, course material, daily coffee-break and lunch (without drinks), social programme and certificate of completation.

The payement will be organized via money transfer on National Research Council of Italy (CNR) bank account: following the selection process, each invited partecipants will receive the communication with all the details. Registration fees have to be received within one week from the above communication.

ACCOMMODATION

The school official accommodation is the Hotel Antica Colonia. We have negotiated special rates of €79 for a single room and €40 – per person- for two persons sharing a comfortable double room.  Note that single occupancy of a double room will be €79.  Dinner will be available at special rate of €18 (including drinks). Free transport to and from the school will be provided for the hotel residents only.

Reservations should be handled directly by the School participants with the hotel.
